LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss & Pro Setting Spray

Today, i want to share with you my thoughts on LA Girl Matte Flat finish pigment gloss and the LA Girl Pro Setting spray HD. I picked these up, few weeks ago when looking for the LA Girl Concealer which is out of stock for some reason for months now. Those are the first two products i tried from LA Girl and so far so good.

Matte liquid lipsticks are my favorite at the moment, so obviously i was super excited to find a good drugstore version. The formula of this lipstick is very comfortable on the lips, long lasting and it doesn’t dry out my lips. Although i would recommend a good scrub and a bit of lip balm to make sure the color apply seamlesly. I still don’t understand why they name them ” gloss” because they are nothing like a gloss. When applied to the lips the formula is watery, but after a minute or so it set to a beautiful flat matte finish. I also really love the fact that it’s not sticky. The shade i have is Dreamy, which is a really stunning nude pink with a bit of brown.

The setting spray is quite good if you are looking for a semi matte finish. I don’t really wear a matte face everyday, but i do like to spray a bit of this mattifying setting spray once in a while. Even though, it’s marketed as a mattifying spray, i feel like this gives more of a semi matte finish, but i don’t mind because i really like the dewy finish it gives to my face. If you have sensitive skin, this high-definition setting spray gives a long-lasting semi matte finish and is paraben and fragrance free. The mist is really fine, the formula is lightweight and it dries out very quickly.

For me, those are definitely keepers,and they made me want to try some more product from LA Girl!
