Wet n Wild is probably my favorite drugstore brand, they have some amazing product for really affordable prices. I use to love their Megalast nail polishes, but now they released a new formula called Wild Shine Nail colors with some really good colors going from basic ones like black, reds and white to trendy ones.
I picked 3 of them, a matte top coat, a protective base coat and a pale peachy pink cream called She Sells.
As i really wanted to put them to test, i first tried Wet and Wild protective base coat with a red nail polish from The Body Shop in the shade Relish the moment. I adore this red nail polish as it’s a true deep and rich red tone, but it’s awful when applied without a base coat. I made that mistake when i first got it and the color and formula were perfect ’till the day i decided to take it off! I was left with orange/yellow stains on my nail, and no matter how much i rubbed my nails with the nail polish remover i didn’t even fade. The Wet n Wild base coat, is a game changer for that!
I am really into matte nails these days as i really like the 90’s vibe they can add to a look, especially with muted colors like nudes and greiges. This Wet and Wild mattifying top coat is really great, only takes a couple of minutes to set and dry to a complete matte finish.
As i was expecting Wet n Wild mattifying top coat and the protective base coat are really good, now on to the actual nail color. I got She sells, which is a really cute creamy pink with peachy undertones. The formula is really good, but not opaque enough. I had to paint two coats to have the color pay off i wanted. I really recommend this range of nail colors as they are really great and cheap too.
These seem really cool! I’ll have to check them out! Thanks for sharing! x
