Tartines - sweet & savory version

Breakfast is by far my favourite meal of the day, i often wake up hungry and the only thing i can think about is making something healthy yet delicious to eat. Today’s recipe is perfect for breakfast, but also for snacking. For the lovers of sweet things, i got 4 easy and simple tartines but also 2 savory versions you will thank me for later.

All of these recipes are easy, budget friendly and simple to make, they are also Gluten-free. The main ingredient is rice cakes, i always make sure to have some at home because they are very filling and healthy. You can also use different type of breads to make those tartines. Plus, you can add whatever your little heart’s desire, you can be as creative as you want, it will probably taste delicious.

For the Avocado, Tomato & Chive tartine, you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1/4 Avocado , 1/4 Tomato, Chopped Chive, Salt & Pepper and Balsamic vinegar.

Spread the avocado on the rice cake, add cubes of tomato and the chopped chive. Seasoning to taste.

For the Tomato tartine, you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1/4 Tomato, 1 Tbsp Fat free Cheese, Salt & Pepper, Balsamic vinegar.

Spread the cheese on the rice cake, add your sliced tomato, season to taste.

For the Chocolate Orange tartine you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1 Tbsp Peanut butter, 1 Tbsp Unsweetened Cacao powder, 1/2 Orange.

This is the most satisfying, healthy chocolate spread in my opinion. Mix together the peanut butter and the cacao powder, spread on the rice cake and finally add peeled, slice of orange.

For the Blueberry & Cheese tartine, you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1/2 cup of Bluberries, 1 Tbsp Agave syrup, 1 Tbsp Fat free Cheese

Spread the cheese and the blueberries on the rice cake

For the Peanut butter & Apple tartine, you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1/4 Apple, 1 Tbsp Peanut butter, a dash of Cinnamon.

If you like cinnamon, you have to try this one. After spreading the peanut butter on a rice cake, add slices of apple and a little bit of cinnamon.

For the Apple & Coco tartine, you will need : 1 Rice cake, 1/4 Apple, Shredded coconut, 1Tbsp Peanut butter.

This is one of my fav, i love the apple and coconut combo. Slice your apple, dip it in peanut butter and then in shredded coconut. You can eat it as is but i prefer to eat them on a rice cake, as it is more filling.
