Underrated Beauty Products

Underrated beauty products

There are few beauty related products that we use on a daily basis, but we often forget to talk about, some of these underrated beauty products we can’t live without but won’t be featured in blog posts. Today’s post is all about those little products we all use but (almost) nobody talks about.

Dove Go Fresh Soap : Dove has always been one of my favorite brands, i still remember buying their shower cream and moisturizer back when i was in high school. I am usually not a huge fan of soaps, i much prefer liquid soaps in general, but i always keep a bar of soap in my bathroom just in case. I love this one by Dove, essentially because of the creamy formula, it doesn’t dry out my skin, but also for the scent! The one i always make sure to pick up at the drugstore is the blue fig and orange blossom scent, there is something about the smell of this soap that brings me back to childhood.

Venus Embrace Razor : I am a newbie when it comes to shaving! Yes, i said it, until last year it was a big no no for me. My mum introduced me to waxing when i was 15 and since i’ve been waxing my whole body either at a spa or at home. But when i started working out at the gym, i couldn’t continue waxing as i needed to wait for my hair to be at least an inch long, so the wax can pull them away, and most of my workout gear shows a little a bit of skin (i can’t help it, but i love shorts) so i had to find a “better” solution. I tried so many brands of razors and most of them was awful, they made my skin itchy and the hair growth was so painful, until i found the Venus Embrace. This little guy is a game changer, no more bumps or irritated skin.

Secret Invisible Deodorant : I know, this is not a glamourous product but we all need a good deodorant! I am so glad i discovered this one, i love everything about it, from the baby powder smell to the waxy formula that dries instantly (so no more armpits dance, waiting for the deodorant to dry). The main thing that made me addicted to it, is that even when i use in the morning, and after working out in the evening, i still have baby powder scented armpits.

Sanctuary Intensive Rescue Heel Balm : I’ve never tried anything from Sanctuary until i stole this intensive rescue heel balm from my mum (mum, if you are reading this, i am sorry). To be honest, i was very intrigued by the name, and since i have very dry feet with calluses i needed something very heavy duty. I can’t live without that product now and i am still wondering how i did before!! The formula is a quite heavy cream with an odd scent that i can’t describe, i use it every other night just before going to bed. I find that it works better when i put socks over it and let it soak over night. I can say that my feet are loving it.

Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi : Scholl describes this little handy tool as “an electronic foot file for removing hard skin from you feet at home. It’s roller head with micro-abrasive particles feature tiny diamond crystals to help quickly remove excess hard skin and ensure silky smooth feet after just one use” And every part of it is true! I really love how handy and easy you can treat yourself to an at-home pedi. I use it once a week and i always follow with the Sanctuary intensive rescue heel balm.

Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was super
long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say,
I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing.

Do you have any helpful hints for rookie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.
