Rain (*) is a South African brand who create handmade bath & body products and hand crafted home ware using natural ingredients with African origins. Before reading this post, go take a look to their amazing website, i still can’t believe how stunning the pictures are, but be aware once you will take a look at their products you will definitely want to have them all.
Few weeks ago, a little box with a body butter from the Biologie line and two handmade soaps popped in my mail.
By the time you read this post i finished my body butter and i am planning to order some more!
Let’s begin with the body butter, the smell of it, is so fresh and soothing i almost wanted to eat it. the creamy and light texture suprisingly worked amazing for my dry skin. I always had a struggle with super dry skin, and shaving my legs made it worst. I noticed that when used on my legs after shaving my skin felt like velvet. Just for that, i need to order some more!
I must confess, i am not a soap lover but since i had those two i decided to give them a go. They don’t smell as good as the butter in my opinion. They smell very earthy and “good for you” kinda smell ( sorry i still suck at describing scents) . I ended up trying them under the shower and i was very impressed. they are not very foamy but they got the job done at cleaning your body. They also are very moisturizing which surprised me; most of soap bars i used in the past made my skin so dry it itches. But with the Rain one my skin felt moisturized even without applying any moisturizer.
I really recommend trying those products, they also make very cute and affordable gifts for the holiday season is coming.
