Chocolate for breakfast

chocolate coconut oatmeal
You might not know that but i believe in healthy eating and working out. I’ve always struggled with my weight since my teenage year. Until last year, i had the worst diet EVER!! not eating enough, straving myself for days and ending up binging like crazy on fast food, chocolate and all kind of food that aren’t good for me at all.
I wasn’t happy with my weight nor my body. I can’t tell where it all started but summer 2014 i decided that it was enough of being unhealthy and unhappy and it was the BEST decision of my life so far.
I decided to look for easy and tasty recipes that will satisfy my sweet tooth.I love my oatmeal for breakfast but it can get boring super fast, this recipe is everything but boring!
Let me introduce you my Choco Coco overnight oat or the recipes that combine my two favorite things (food wise) chocolate and coconut !
You will need :
1 cup of oat
1 cup of Vanilla flavored almond milk (or coconut )
Agave syrup
1 tea spoon unsweetned cocoa powder
Vanilla bean
Shreded coconut
Unsweetned dark chocolate
Use half of the oat and the milk in a first bowl, mix it with half of the agave syrup and the shreded coconut.
The other half of oat and milk you will mix with the cocoa powder, agave syrup and the vanilla bean.
Put the coconut mixture in a glass ( it nicer the see the color separated ) then follow by the chocolate mixture using a spoon and being gentle so you can see the to separated layers in your glass.
Let it sit overnight in your frigde. Add a little bit of shreded coconut and shreded dark chocolate on top, before serving and voila a sweet and tasty breakfast without the guilt. Enjoy
