Tips to make this smoothie perfectly:
Use ripe bananas. The banana is what makes this smoothie sweet, so make sure to pick a nice ripe banana.
For extra freshness and creaminess, you can make this smoothie with frozen bananas and beets!!

Hi Susan, thank you so much for the feedback! I am happy you loved it 🙂

Hi! My name is Pam and I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 10/13/2019. I have been trying to eat clean and found this recipe. My dr. said that I would need to juice in order to get enough benefits from my fruits and vegetables. That eating them alone would not be enough. My husband has benefited from it also. He has circulation problems and has a very large blood clot about 2 1/2 years ago. So thank you for this awesome recipe. We love it! 😊
Hi Pam! I am sorry to hear that, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope your treatment is successful! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment! I am so glad you guys loved it 🙂
I am assuming you are using raw beets? Could you also use roasted or canned?
Hi Laura, in this smoothie I used raw beets, but it works well with canned or cooked beets! Hope you like this smoothie x
I used cooked beets, so the color of the juice is on the brown side instead of the bright one in the picture, but it still tastes great.
This is really good. I added protein powder an extra banana and ginger. And next time I will peel the banana before I freeze it.
