Sweet Spinach Beet Smoothie

I love smoothies for breakfast because they are so easy to make and you can add anything you like. And in this case, the perfect way to get an extra serving of veggies!

In my opinion, nothing beats a refreshing smoothie in the morning, especially in the warmer weather. So, this is one of my go-to smoothie recipes.

Here is why you’ll love this spinach beet smoothie:

This spinach beet smoothie is secretly pretty sweet even with a load of veggie in it.

It’s perfect for kids or people who don’t like veggies that much because they won’t even notice them! Besides how delicious this smoothie is, it also contains a healthy amount of nutrients & vitamins.

Tips to make this smoothie perfectly:

Use ripe bananas. The banana is what makes this smoothie sweet, so make sure to pick a nice ripe banana.

For extra freshness and creaminess, you can make this smoothie with frozen bananas and beets!!

Freeze your fruits/veggies the night before and throw everything in a high powered blender. Blend until smooth and serve! A creamy smoothie that you can serve in a bowl topped with granola, seeds and some coconut yogurt for a balanced meal.

Hi! My name is Pam and I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 10/13/2019. I have been trying to eat clean and found this recipe. My dr. said that I would need to juice in order to get enough benefits from my fruits and vegetables. That eating them alone would not be enough. My husband has benefited from it also. He has circulation problems and has a very large blood clot about 2 1/2 years ago. So thank you for this awesome recipe. We love it! 😊

I am assuming you are using raw beets? Could you also use roasted or canned?

Hi Laura, in this smoothie I used raw beets, but it works well with canned or cooked beets! Hope you like this smoothie x

I used cooked beets, so the color of the juice is on the brown side instead of the bright one in the picture, but it still tastes great.

This is really good. I added protein powder an extra banana and ginger. And next time I will peel the banana before I freeze it.
