Doesn’t that sound perfect?!

Easy Fall Spiced Apple Crisp

Apple crisps are a staple dessert in fall and winter. They are sweet, comforting, and full of delicious warm and cozy flavors.

This recipe is even cozier! Spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, marry beautifully with vanilla and maple into a subtly sweet and perfectly spiced mix!

This fall-spiced apple crisp recipe is healthier than the classic version yet very comforting and satisfying.

Easy Fall Spiced Apple Crisp

It all starts with apples, diced and tossed directly into a baking pan. I would highly suggest using different varieties of apples (some sweet, some tart) as it gives a nice balance of flavor.

Add vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and some maple for extra sweetness. And finally, corn starch to help thicken the sauce!

Finally, in a bowl mix the remaining ingredients to make the crumble topping.

Oat, almond and coconut flakes mixed with maple and cinnamon provide the perfect golden brown crisp with the ultimate crunchy texture.

Layer over the apple filling, and into the oven it goes.

Serve warm (or cold!) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or coconut yogurt for a healthier alternative! Enjoy
